Bronx, NY (August 12, 2024) – Late on Sunday night, August 11, a severe four-car collision occurred in the Williamsbridge neighborhood of the Bronx, resulting in 11 people being injured, with one individual in critical condition. The accident took place near the intersection of Pelham Parkway North and Boston Road at approximately 9:20 p.m.

Emergency services quickly responded to the scene, with firefighters initially reporting seven injuries. As more details emerged, EMS confirmed that a total of eleven individuals were injured in the crash. Among them, one person was critically injured, while four others sustained serious injuries. Two victims were treated for minor injuries. Those needing additional care and examination were transported to area hospitals. The chaotic scene attracted numerous onlookers as traffic slowed down in the vicinity.

The red vehicle involved in the collision suffered significant rear-end damage, underscoring the severity of the crash. While no one was trapped in the vehicles, the incident required additional emergency resources to manage the situation. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident as they work to clear the scene and restore normal traffic flow.
