Henrietta, NY – Fatal Motorcycle Crash Leaves One Dead, One Critical

Henrietta, NY (August 9, 2024) – Authorities are currently investigating a tragic accident that occurred on Thursday night involving a motorcycle and a car at the intersection of Pinnacle Road and Tomahawk Trail in Henrietta.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the motorcyclist, identified as 33-year-old Kyle M. Soehner of Honeoye Falls, was critically injured in the crash and was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he sadly succumbed to his injuries. A passenger riding on the motorcycle was also rushed to the hospital and is listed in critical condition, though doctors are hopeful for their recovery. The driver of the car involved in the collision was not injured and is cooperating with the investigation.

Following the crash, Pinnacle Road was closed off between Red Lion Road and Goodburlet Road to allow deputies to investigate the scene thoroughly. The road has since been reopened, but the specific details and factors contributing to the collision remain unclear as the investigation continues.

We offer our condolences to the family of Kyle M. Soehner.
