Manhattan, NY - Three Injured in Crash at United Nations Plz & E 42nd St

Manhattan, NY (July 3, 2024) – There were reported injuries after a car accident in the Queens area on Tuesday, July 2. The crash was reported that evening, around 7:33 p.m., at the intersection of United Nations Plaza and E. 42nd Street. Three people were injured in the collision. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide the necessary aid to the involved parties. Medical personnel treated the injured victims at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital for further support. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities worked the scene. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and other debris and to reopen the road to outside traffic. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
