Miller Place, NY - Injury Crash with Ambulance at Rte 25A & Parkside Ave

Miller Place, NY (June 23, 2024) – On Saturday, June 22, there were reported injuries after a two-vehicle crash in the Miller Place area. The accident was reported at the intersection of Parkside Avenue and Route 25A late that evening, around 6:30 p.m. Local reports revealed that a 41-year-old man was attempting to turn onto Parkside from Route 25A when he collided with an ambulance. 

The driver, later identified as Matthew Golf, was hurt and transported to a local hospital by ambulance for the treatment of serious injuries. Two medical professionals riding in the ambulance were also hurt and transferred to a nearby facility for treatment. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities worked to clear the scene. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
