Bronx, NY – Two Killed in Collision at Fordham Rd & Jerome Ave
Bronx, NY (April 13, 2024) – Two people were killed and three others were injured after a car accident in the Bronx area on Saturday, April 13. The crash was reported underneath the number 4 train station at the corner of Fordham Road and Jerome Avenue early that morning around 4 a.m. Local reports revealed that a BMW and a Nissan Rogue collided at the scene.
Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid. The impact caused the BMW to crash into a column of the train line. The 23-year-old driver and an unidentified male passenger in the BMW suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Three people traveling in the Nissan were also hurt. They were transported to St. Barnabas Hospital for treatment of sustained injuries. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
