Brooklyn, NY - Cyclist Killed in Crash at 6th Ave & 53rd St

Brooklyn, NY (March 12, 2024) – On Monday, March 11, a cyclist was killed following a traffic accident in the Brooklyn area. The deadly crash was reported at the corner of 6th Avenue and 53rd Street at around 12:03 a.m. Local reports indicated that two riders were on bikes when they collided. 

The 67-year-old man riding one of the bikes fell from the E-bike and hit his head on the pavement. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide the necessary aid. The injured party suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. 

At this time, the identities of the involved parties have not been provided. No further information on the deadly bicycle accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
