Brooklyn, NY - Fatal Pedestrian Accident at Ashford St & Linden Blvd

Brooklyn, NY (March 19, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in the Brooklyn area on Monday, March 18. The deadly crash was reported that afternoon at around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Ashford Street and Linden Boulevard. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched after being notified of a pedestrian-vehicle accident. 

Local reports indicated that a 36-year-old man was traveling on foot when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle driven by a 59-year-old man. The injured party suffered critical injuries and was later pronounced dead. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. The identity of the deceased victim has been withheld. No further information on the deadly accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
