A serious car accident can happen at almost any time, and there are nearly limitless factors that can contribute to your crash. Distracted driving has become one of the leading factors contributing to fatal vehicle accidents across the nation. Thousands are killed each year by distracted drivers, with many more suffering life-changing injuries. You can easily cover the length of a football field when texting while driving in the time it takes to send one message. Texting is just one of many examples of driver distraction, and drivers who are distracted will have their eyes off the road nearly 10 percent of the time. Together with a capable lawyer, crash victims can build a compelling case for financial compensation.
Reckless drivers should be held responsible for their actions in the event of a life-changing auto accident.
