Brooklyn, NY - Injuries in Collision at Prospect Expy & Seeley St

Brooklyn, NY (May 12, 2024) – At least one person was hurt following a pileup collision in the Brooklyn area on Sunday, May 12. The accident was reported early that morning around 11:14 a.m. at the intersection of Prospect Expressway W. and Seeley Street. Three or more vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. 

There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the related damages have not been determined. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to render the necessary aid. The injured parties were treated at the scene before being transferred by ambulance to a local hospital. The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. The area was temporarily closed until tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
