Brooklyn, NY (May 9, 2024) – A pedestrian was hurt after a traffic accident in the Brooklyn area on Thursday, May 9. The incident took place early that morning around 1:21 a.m. at the intersection of Church Avenue and Utica Avenue. The victim was traveling on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene after being notified of a serious pedestrian-vehicle crash. The injured pedestrian was reportedly bleeding from the mouth. The injured parties were transported to a local hospital after being treated by attending medical personnel. The circumstances leading to the incident have not been determined. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities were present. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
