Brooklyn, NY - Pedestrian Killed in Crash at Ashford St & Linden Blvd

Brooklyn, NY (May 1, 2024) – A pedestrian was killed after a traffic accident in the Brooklyn area on Monday, April 29. The deadly crash was reported at the corner of Ashford Street and Linden Boulevard that afternoon around 1:30 p.m. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene after being notified of a serious pedestrian-vehicle accident. 

Local reports revealed that a driver was headed eastbound on Linden when they hit a pedestrian crossing the road. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities worked to clear the scene. Despite life-saving measures from responding paramedics, the injured pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased victim has not been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more information will be provided as it continues.
