Pedestrian Crashes in New York
Everyone should be able to use the road without fear of suffering a serious injury. Sadly, pedestrians are significantly more likely to sustain possibly fatal injuries in an automobile accident. Data indicates that a disproportionately high number of road deaths in New York involve pedestrians. Every year, the state reports more than 3,000 hospital admissions, 15,000 injuries, and 300 fatalities involving pedestrian accidents. New York is a city driven by pedestrian traffic, and roadway safety is crucial. In the event of a catastrophic collision, you should be prepared to defend your legal rights. Pedestrians are not designed to withstand the force of a car crash, and if you or someone close to you is hurt in a crash, you may be able to pursue a claim with the help of a trained lawyer. A competent Brooklyn personal injury lawyer will be ready to fight for your legal rights during this difficult time. Contact the offices of Isaacson, Schiowitz & Korson LLP today at (516) 774-3635.
