Manhattan, NY (July 27, 2024) – At least one person was hurt following a pileup crash in the Manhattan area on Saturday, July 27. That morning, around 5:48 a.m., the accident was reported at the crossing of W. 180th Street and Broadway. Three vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the vehicles leaked fuel on the roadway. 

At this time, the circumstances leading to the collision have not been determined. The injured parties were provided aid at the scene by attending medical personnel, and those requiring further support were later hospitalized. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided. The area was closed while authorities worked to clear the scene. No further information on the accident is currently available. Nonetheless, an investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, and it’s being managed by local law enforcement officials.
