Queens, NY - Injuries in Hit-&-Run at 92nd St & 34th Ave

Queens, NY (July 1, 2024) – There were reported injuries after a pedestrian hit-and-run in the Queens area on Monday, July 1. The crash was reported early that morning, around 6:51 a.m., at the corner of 92nd Street and 34th Avenue. The victim was traveling on foot when they were struck by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary medical aid. It was later revealed that the at-fault driver fled the scene without rendering aid to the injured party. The wounded pedestrian was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment after being treated at the scene by attending personnel. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. No updates on the accident are currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
