Queens, NY - Injury Car Crash at Queens Midtown Tunnel

Queens, NY (March 15, 2024) – At least one person was hurt after a car crash in Queens on Friday morning, March 15. The accident was reported at the Queens Midown Tunnel early that morning at around 12:03 a.m. The extent and number of the resulting injuries were not included in the initial reports. 

There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and emergency crews were quickly dispatched in order to render the necessary medical aid. The circumstances leading to the collision were not included in the initial reports. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
