Queens, NY (April 20, 2024) – At least one person was hurt following a traffic accident in the Queens area on Saturday, April 20. The accident was reported early that morning around 4:35 a.m. at the intersection of Van Wyck Expressway and Hillside Avenue. Three or more vehicles were involved in the accident. 

Emergency responders were sent to the scene after being notified of a serious collision with injuries. The injured parties were treated by attending medical personnel before being transported to a local hospital for further support. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The area was closed for several hours until tow trucks were able to clear the resulting debris. No further information on the accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
