Queens, NY – Pileup Crash at Jackson Ave & 21st St Causes Injuries
Queens, NY (March 10, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a multi-vehicle collision in the Queens area on Saturday, March 9. The crash occurred that afternoon at around 1:29 p.m. at the corner of Jackson Avenue and 21st Street. Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash, and one of the involved cars crashed into a nearby fire hydrant.
Emergency crews were dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The crash victims were later transferred to a local hospital for further support.
The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting debris and reopen the road to outside traffic. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
