Queens, NY (May 17, 2024) – At least one person was injured after a traffic accident in the Queens area on Friday, May 17. Early that morning, around 12:49 a.m., the collision was reported on Van Wyck Expressway. The area was temporarily closed as paramedics and local authorities were present.
Emergency responders were rushed to the scene after being notified of a crash with injuries. There were confirmed injuries resulting from the accident, but the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined.
