Queens, NY - Injuries in Fiery Pileup Crash at 72nd Ave & 141st St

Queens, NY (June 30, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a multi-vehicle collision in the Queens area on Sunday, June 30. The crash was reported early that morning, around 7:20 a.m., at the corner of 72nd Avenue and 141st Street. The crash reportedly involved two or more vehicles. 

Two of the cars caught fire as a result of the impact, and there were reports of entrapment. Emergency responders were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Those requiring treatment were transported to a local hospital for additional support. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and other debris. No updates on the accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
