Babylon, NY – Three Injured in Police Cruiser Crash at Park & Cadman Ave
Babylon, NY (June 7, 2024) – Three people were hurt, including two police officers, after a car accident in the Babylon area on Thursday, June 6. The crash occurred that afternoon around 1:55 p.m. The collision occurred as a police cruiser was responding to a 911 call.
The cruiser was traveling on Cadman Avenue when it collided with another vehicle on Park Avenue. The police vehicle then hit a tree after the initial impact. Two officers and the driver of the other vehicle were transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. A female passenger in the civilian car was not harmed in the accident. No further information on the crash is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident.
