Bronx, NY - At Least One Hurt in Crash at Tiffany St & Spofford Ave

Bronx, NY (July 11, 2024) – A serious auto accident in the Bronx area on Wednesday, July 10, required support from local emergency crews. The incident was reported late that evening, around 11:53 p.m., at the intersection of Tiffany Street and Spofford Avenue. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the circumstances leading to the crash have not been made public at this time. 

The involved parties were provided aid by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a local hospital by ambulance for further support. The severity and number of the related injuries have not been confirmed. Local officials advised nearby motorists to avoid the scene and to prepare for significant delays. The area was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting wreckage and debris. Local law enforcement officials are handling an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident, and more updates will be released as it progresses.
