Bronx, NY – Pedestrian Injury Crash at Lafayette Ave & Hutchinson River Pkwy
Bronx, NY (July 7, 2024) – There were reported injuries after a pedestrian accident in the Bronx area on Sunday, July 7. The crash was reported that afternoon, around 12:15 p.m., at the intersection of Lafayette Avenue and Hutchinson River Parkway. A 14-year-old boy was traveling on foot when they were struck by an oncoming motor vehicle.
Emergency crews were rushed to the scene after being notified of the incident. The injured party was provided treatment by attending medical personnel, and ambulances were available to transport those needing additional support to nearby hospitals.
