Bronx, NY - Two Officers Hurtin Crash at E 188th St & Grand Concourse

Bronx, NY (July 23, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a vehicle collision in the Bronx area on Tuesday, July 23. The accident was reported early that morning, around 6:57 a.m., at the corner of E. 188th Street and Grand Concourse. Two police officers were injured in the collision. 

Emergency responders were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Both victims were able to exit the vehicle before emergency crews arrived. The circumstances leading to the accident have not yet been determined. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities were present. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more information will be made public as it continues.
