Manhattan, NY - Car Wreck Ends in Injuries at E 53rd St & 5th Ave

Manhattan, NY (June 25, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries resulting from an auto accident in the Manhattan area on Tuesday, June 25. The crash occurred at the corner of E. 53rd Street and 5th Avenue early that morning around 2:11 a.m. Local reports revealed that two or more vehicles were involved in the accident.

Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. At least one person involved in the crash was hurt, but the number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been determined. It is currently unknown how the crash occurred. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
