Manhattan, NY - Injuries in Collision at E 116th St & 2nd Ave

Manhattan, NY (June 20, 2024) – A serious auto accident in the Manhattan area on Thursday, June 20, required support from local paramedics. The accident happened early that morning around 2:34 a.m. at the corner of E. 116th Street and 2nd Avenue.

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to help the involved parties. At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The injured parties were later transferred to a nearby hospital for additional support. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities worked the scene, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris. No further information on the incident is currently available. However, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
