New York High-speed Collisions
Speed can play an extremely important role in the event of a crash. In many cases, it can determine how severe a collision will be, as long as the impact of any resulting injuries. In New York, drivers have a bad habit of speeding. In 2020, nearly 53.8 percent of traffic deaths in the city involved motor vehicle occupants and almost 29 percent of fatalities on roads in the Big Apple involved speeding. Speeding is a potentially dangerous habit that results in thousands of deaths in the United States each year. It should come as no surprise that nearly one-third of reported traffic deaths nationwide in the past two decades have involved high-speed collisions. If you or someone close to you is unfairly hurt in a car crash, you may be able to pursue compensation with the help of a trained attorney.
