Brooklyn, NY (March 21, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a crash involving a motor vehicle and a pedestrian in the Brooklyn area on Thursday, March 21. Early that morning at around 5:53 a.m., the accident was first reported at the 503 block of 2nd Avenue. A pedestrian was hit by a motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene after being notified of an injured pedestrian on the roadway. When paramedics arrived, they found the injured party lying on the road. The driver involved fled the scene without rendering aid. The crash victims were treated at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital for further support. No updates on the crash are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
