Hempstead, NY – Fatal Rollover Accident on Meadowbrook State Pkwy
Hempstead, NY (April 25, 2024) – On Tuesday, April 23, there were fatal injuries after a rollover crash in the Hempstead area. The deadly accident was reported on Meadowbrook State Parkway near the exit for Hempstead Turnpike late that night around 8 p.m. Three vehicles reportedly collided at the scene.
Local reports revealed that 36-year-old Michael Brown Jr. of Hempstead was traveling northbound on the roadway when he collided with two other vehicles. This caused Brown’s vehicle to overturn. Brown sustained fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were hurt in the crash, and both were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
