Manhattan, NY - Crash Ends in Injuries at E 66th St & Park Ave

Manhattan, NY (July 28, 2024) – On Sunday, July 28, at least one person sustained injuries after an auto accident in the Manhattan area. The incident took place at the corner of E. 66th Street and Park Avenue early that morning, around 2:18 a.m. There were confirmed injuries at the scene, but the number and extent of the resulting injuries have not been determined. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Those needing additional support were transported to local hospitals by ambulance for additional treatment. The area was closed while local authorities worked to clear the scene, and tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and other debris. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
