Distracted Driving Crashes in New York

Manhattan, NY - Injury Collision at 3rd Ave & 9th StAs a driver, it is your duty to maintain your attention on the road. Unfortunately, what should be a straightforward task is becoming almost impossible due to the growing use of smartphones and other mobile devices in the United States. New York has some of the most dangerous roads, and its drivers are known for operating their cars recklessly. In terms of distracted driving-related collisions, the state is ranked ninth worst in the nation. Between 2017 and 2021, 563 out of 4,785 road deaths in the state—or almost 13 percent of all traffic fatalities—were associated with distracted driving. In the event of a serious auto accident, drivers who do not pay attention to the road should be held accountable for their actions. This is often only possible when you work with a trained lawyer to pursue a personal injury claim.

It can be difficult to pursue a full recovery on your own after a serious collision. A competent Manhattan car crash lawyer will be able to defend your legal rights.
