Manhattan, NY - Motorcycle Injury Crash at Dyckman St & Vermilyea Ave

Manhattan, NY (August 1, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a two-vehicle collision in the Manhattan area on Wednesday, July 31. The crash was reported late that evening, around 11:35 p.m., at the intersection of Dyckman Street and Vermilyea Avenue. A motorcycle and another vehicle collided at the scene. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties after being notified of a serious motorcycle accident. The rider was traveling near the intersection when they collided with a passenger car. The circumstances leading to the collision have not yet been determined. The injured parties were treated at the scene by attending medical personnel before being transferred to a local hospital by ambulance for additional support. No further information on the accident is currently available, and more information will be provided as it continues.
