New York, NY – Young Boy Hit by Car at Broadway & 70th St
New York, NY (March 8, 2024) – On Thursday, March 7, a woman’s son was injured after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Upper West Side area of New York. The collision occurred at the corner of Broadway and W. 70th Street early that morning. The woman and an eight-year-old boy were on foot when the boy was struck by an oncoming Nissan.
Emergency responders were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the injured party. The juvenile was transported to Mount Sinai West for treatment. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present.
The 50-year-old woman driving the Nissan was cited by local authorities. No further information has been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
