Queens, NY - Multi-Vehicle Crash on Long Island Expy Ends in Injuries

Queens, NY (March 17, 2024) – At least one person was injured after a traffic accident in the Queens area on Sunday, March 17. That afternoon at around 3:38 p.m., the collision was reported at the intersection of Long Island Expressway and Utopia Parkway. Three or more vehicles were involved in the collision. 

Emergency responders were rushed to the scene after being notified of a crash with injuries. There were confirmed injuries resulting from the accident, but the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency crews worked to clear the scene. No further information on the accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
