Queens, NY - Pileup Injury Crash at Queens Blvd & Long Island Expy W

Queens, NY (July 20, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a pileup collision in the Queens area on Saturday, July 20. The crash was reported at the corner of Queens Boulevard and Long Island Expressway W. early that morning around 7:54 a.m. Three or more vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. A male victim sustained neck and head injuries due to the impact. 

An ambulance was dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. Those requiring further treatment were later transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. Local officials advised nearby drivers to avoid the scene and to prepare for significant delays while emergency crews were present. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
