Queens, NY (June 12, 2024) – On Monday, June 10, three pedestrians were injured after being hit by a motorcycle in the Queens area. The incident was reported on 37th Avenue that night around 5:34 p.m. Local reports revealed that a 44-year-old man was riding a 2023 Yamaha motorcycle on the roadway when he collided with a parked car.
The rider continued to hit three people standing on the sidewalk. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties, and all three victims were transported to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment. The motorcyclist was also injured and transported to Long Island Jewish Medical Center for treatment of sustained injuries. It was later revealed that the rider had a defective accelerator.
