Staten Island, NY – Injuries in Police Car Crash at Jewett & College Ave
Staten Island, NY (March 8, 2024) – Two officers and a civilian were hurt after a two-vehicle collision involving a police vehicle in the Staten Island area on Thursday, March 7. The crash occurred that morning at the corner of Jewett Avenue and College Avenue early that morning at around 10:45 a.m. Local reports revealed that a New York Police Department patrol vehicle and a white Mazda collided at the scene.
Both vehicles sustained significant front-end damage, and the airbags were deployed. Emergency responders were dispatched to provide aid to the crash victims. The injured parties were transported to Richmond University Hospital in West Brighton for treatment.
