Queens, NY - Multi-Vehicle Injury Crash at Long Island Expy & Maurice Ave

Queens, NY (July 12, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries following an auto accident in the Queens area on Friday, July 12. The collision took place at the corner of Long Island Expressway W. and Maurice Avenue early that morning around 7:30 a.m. Local reports indicated that three or more vehicles collided at the scene. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Local reports revealed that airbags were deployed as a result of the impact. The injured parties were treated at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital by ambulance for additional support. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and other debris. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in the hands of local law enforcement officials.
