Staten Island, NY (July 7, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a multi-vehicle collision in the Staten Island area on Sunday, July 7. The crash was reported on Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge near 92nd Street early that morning, around 11:05 a.m. Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the collision. 

An ambulance was dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. At this time, the severity and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. Those requiring further treatment were later transferred to local hospitals by ambulance. Local officials advised nearby drivers to avoid the scene and to prepare for significant delays while emergency crews were present. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
