Bronx, NY (July 16, 2024) – There were reported injuries after a multi-vehicle collision in the Bronx area on Tuesday, July 16. The accident was reported at the intersection of Cross Bronx Expressway E. and Westchester Avenue early that morning, around 5:24 a.m. Two vehicles and two tractor-trailers were involved in the accident, and at least one rolled in the crash.
Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Two patients required treatment and were transported to local hospitals by ambulance. One of the victims was extricated by responding emergency personnel. At this time, the circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined.
