High-Speed Collisions in New York
In New York, road safety is a major concern. The city reports a high number of serious auto accidents each year, many of which are brought on by drivers who speed. Despite the city’s strict speed limits, 3,940 crashes in 2022 were caused by drivers who were speeding, according to statistics. In the United States, high-speed collisions claim the lives of almost 10,000 people annually, with speeding accounting for nearly 25 percent of all traffic deaths. Speeding drivers are more likely to lose control of their vehicles and cause life-changing injuries in the event of a crash. If you or someone close to you is hurt by a reckless driver, you should consult a qualified lawyer to pursue a strong claim for compensation.
