Bronx, NY – One Killed, Another Hurt in Rollover on Bronx River Pkwy
Bronx, NY (April 19, 2024) – On Friday, April 19, one person was killed and another was injured after a rollover crash in the Bronx area. The deadly accident was reported on Bronx River Parkway early that morning around 9:16 a.m. Local reports revealed that the victims were traveling in a Jeep Grand Cherokee on the roadway when the vehicle overturned.
The male driver was rounding a curve on the roadway when he hit a partition, causing the Jeep to overturn onto its side. A female passenger in the vehicle was ejected. The 30-year-old woman suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead by attending emergency crews. The 34-year-old man driving the Jeep was hospitalized in critical condition.
