Manhattan, NY (April 21, 2024) – At least one person sustained injuries after a car crash in the Manhattan area early on Sunday, April 21. The collision was reported that morning around 5:38 a.m. at the crossing of FDR Drive N. and E. 61st Street. There were reported injuries at the scene. 

At this time, the number and severity of the related damages have not been determined. Paramedics were present to render the necessary aid, and those needing further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been provided. Local authorities advised nearby motorists to avoid the scene and to prepare for significant delays. No updates on the accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
