High-Speed Collisions in New York
In New York, road safety is a major concern. The city reports a high number of serious auto accidents each year, many of which are brought on by drivers who speed. Despite the city’s strict speed limits on its roadways, 3,940 crashes in 2022 involved speeding drivers, according to statistics. Over 10,000 persons in the United States lose their lives in high-speed crashes every year, with speeding accounting for about 25 percent of all traffic fatalities.
Speeding makes it much harder to maintain control of your vehicle while also greatly increasing stopping distance. If you or a loved one is seriously hurt in an accident brought on by a negligent driver, you might be able to file a personal injury claim and get compensation with the help of an experienced lawyer.
It can be hard to pursue a strong claim for compensation on your own. After a life-changing auto accident, you should consult a qualified Queens personal injury lawyer as soon as possible.
