Staten Island, NY - Motorcyclist Injury Crash at South Ave & Goethals Rd

Staten Island, NY (April 28, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a motorcycle crash in the Staten Island area on Sunday, April 28. The accident was reported early that morning around 9:20 a.m. at the crossing of South Avenue and Goethals Road N. A motorcyclist was traveling through the intersection when they collided with another vehicle. 

Emergency crews were dispatched to provide the necessary aid. The injured party was later transferred to a local hospital by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. The severity of the resulting injuries has not been determined. No further information on the collision is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
