New York Distracted Driving Crashes

Queens, NY - Rockaway & Farmers Blvd Car Crash with InjuriesIt is no surprise that drivers who do not look at the road are a serious risk. You could be hurt by a driver who is just not paying attention without any fault of your own, and statistics show that distracted driving is becoming more prevalent. Each year in the United States, collisions related to this reckless behavior result in about 3,000 fatalities and 400,000 injuries, making up around 15 percent of all injury crashes. Because texting while driving has grown so widespread, it is not unusual to witness a driver looking down at their phone. In the unfortunate event of being involved in an automobile accident caused by a distracted driver, seeking legal recourse may be necessary to ensure that you receive fair compensation for any injuries or damages incurred.

After a car accident, it is hard to achieve a full recovery when you handle your case alone.
