Victims of Hit-and-Run Crashes
Hit-and-run accidents are particularly devastating because victims often don’t receive the immediate medical care needed for recovery. Sadly, these types of accidents are on the rise nationwide, with most involving vulnerable road users. Statistics highlight New York as one of the most dangerous cities for hit-and-runs. In 2021 alone, there were 93 serious hit-and-run incidents in the city, leading to arrests in almost 23 cases.
The victims of hit-and-run crashes may be gone, but their memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved them. Their families’ demand for justice is a powerful reminder that these crimes have far-reaching consequences. When seriously injured in a crash, especially a hit-and-run, it can be overwhelming to know where to turn for recovery. However, even if the driver leaves the scene, there are still avenues for compensation. Partnering with an experienced Rochester hit-and-run lawyer is essential for thoroughly investigating the incident and building a strong case on your behalf.
