Brooklyn, NY (April 18, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries following a collision involving a moped in the Brooklyn area on Thursday, April 18. The collision was reported at the 726 block of Union Street early that morning around 7:28 a.m. Local reports revealed that a moped rider was hit by a red sedan. 

The injured rider was provided aid by attending medical personnel, who were quickly dispatched to the scene after authorities were notified of the incident. The extent and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The injured party was later transferred to a local hospital for further support. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No updates on the conditions of the involved parties have been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
