Brooklyn, NY (May 8, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries after a two-vehicle collision in the Brooklyn area on Wednesday, May 8. The accident was reported early that morning around 6:51 a.m. at the corner of 65th Street and 4th Avenue. The injured party was riding a motorcycle when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

The rider sustained a head injury and was bleeding heavily when emergency crews arrived. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. The injured motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital for additional support. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. No further information on the accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
