Brooklyn, NY - Pileup Crash with Injuries at 57th St & Clarendon Rd

Brooklyn, NY (April 5, 2024) – At least one person was hurt in the aftermath of a multi-vehicle accident in the Brooklyn area on Friday, April 5. The collision was reported early that morning around 7:34 a.m. at the crossing of E. 57th Street and Clarendon Road. Local reports indicated that a sanitation truck and two Teslas were involved in the crash. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. The extent and number of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities worked to clear the scene. The circumstances leading to the crash have not been determined. Tow trucks were needed to clear the resulting wreckage and other debris. No further information on the accident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
