Queens, NY - Car Crash with Injuries at Stanhope St & Onderdonk Ave

Queens, NY (May 11, 2024) – A serious auto accident in the Queens area required support from local paramedics on Saturday, May 11. Early that morning around 9:48 a.m., the collision was reported at the crossing of Stanhope Street and Onderdonk Avenue. Two or more vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. 

At least one person involved in the accident was hurt, and the injured parties were treated at the scene by attending medical personnel. Those requiring further support were later transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The number and severity of the related injuries have not been determined. The roadway was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were quickly dispatched to clear the resulting wreckage and other debris. No further updates on the accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
